Yep. It's amazing what we can accomplish when we all pull together. littlemissmartypants Jul 2021 #5

It's a sad state of affairs we live in today.

I remember that sugar cube like it was yesterday.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could dispense the Covid vaccine that way? I wonder if it would help? I'm afraid we are finding out what a bunch of idiotic contrarians we share the world with. I just don't get it. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I remember getting vaccines when I was a kid in school - right at school! And a few years ago I took my friend to get the MMR vaccine when she returned to college. She wasn't allowed to attend classes unless she got it. And The Carter Center's most important work now is working to eradicate preventable diseases in other countries. I remember getting that sugar cube, too, and I don't enjoy getting a shot, but I just don't watch. Since when has preventing deadly disease become politically controversial??

I guess we hear more about it with our 24 hour "news" cycle. I just don't get it. It's so counterintuitive.

You get 1000 off on your taxes for every person in your household that has been vaccinated but only if everyone in the household has been vaccinated.
