The Republicans know they are getting more and more a minority party it’s one of the reasons they’re trying to make it hard for what they consider the the wrong people to vote.

"Everything Trump Touches, Dies." It's the honest truth. His daddy surrounded him with a bunch of lawyers and accountants to keep the family fortune intact, which is why Dumdum was forced to fund his big ideas with other people's money.

Fred Trump knew what his son was but gave him the family business to run because of his ruthlessness, certainly not his smarts.

I'm hoping we got him out of office before he managed to kill off enough of our democracy that the next charismatic blowhard will be able to finish it off. You know there will be a next one, right? The founders sure did.

I have to hope he's managed to kill off the GQP, instead. They're actually looking pretty shaky, these days, all they have left are Nixon's bigots and Reagans religious nuts and only the craziest billionaires. Now that he no longer has the glamor of the presidency, his shtik is sound9ing a little shopworn, not that his protracted raving ever made any sense, at all.

I can hope that's the case, because the GQP has lost 4 of the last 5 presidential elections. They're already a minority party, people are sick of the insanity and some are even sick of the organized hate. This could well be the last of the party built by Nixon and Reagan on bigotry and sanctimony, the dying trumpet of an old and putrefying elephant on its way to an overdue grave.
