But last year all the kids wore masks, even the younger ones. I'd see them getting off the school buses (when I got stuck behind one which stopped at every side street and house ) and they were all wearing masks. I sure hope that they reinstate the mask mandate here in New York, but I'm not holding my breath. It was strictly enforced for over a year and once it was rescinded (supposedly for all those who were vaccinated) there's rarely a mask in sight.
I did drive through Lake George Village today - and the sidewalks were packed with tourists, as usual. When not fighting the traffic, I tried to spot masks and I did see a few, but not many.
