I recognized all the artwork he spoke about, he's become obsessed with several of them on his shows. John Oliver does have unusual taste, LOL, but it's all in good humor - and the donations the show's making are a wonderful aspect of this tour...

Detroit Institute of Art for an exhibit of the Art of Rock. A collection of Rock and Roll Poster art.
At the time I owned four of the ones that they had on display.

I'm guessing that the tour won't be coming anyway near here - we do have a well regarded collection locally, but nothing from the last century or so...
