Ed Asner was a great talent and a wonderful human being.

3. Am I the only one who remembers
that he made a film (the name of which I can't remember) for some non-profit (the namw of which I can't remember) which took on this issue and breader economic issues? The lead was a young Asian-American actress, and Ed played her grandfather, who was violently opposed to the group she was a leader of. A plot point was that the group was infiltrateed. There was a scene which portrayed a conversation between Madison and Hamilton which provided some background. I'm sorry I can't remember more.
