He is not one to leave any degree of ambiguity dangle out there for Republicans to harp on. That is a forced error that both Clinton's made, both in and out of office. When they confront you with issues - manufactured or not - you have to turn on them. Defend yourself. Don't just remain above the fray, enter the trenches and address it.

Go Joe!

What you did took courage, something that none of your said critics have.

You inspire with your words and instill confidence in America's direction. We can all sleep better at night knowing that you have assets in place that make a real difference in making America safer from our adversaries abroad.

With so many challenges facing our nation, it is with great satisfaction that we have president Joseph R. Biden there to meet those challenges.

A humble citizen and our family thanks you from the bottoms of our hearts!!!

Unfortunately, the events of the past two weeks were largely unavoidable and would have occurred regardless who was president.
What seems apparent is that Trump had no intention of evacuating anyone other than embassy staff and our troops on the ground. I come to this conclusion by the number of troops (2,500) he had on the ground in January. This number suggests that he was going to simply withdraw the military on May 1st without regard to the situation on the ground at that time.

Benghazi and the loss of 13 soldiers in the evacuation pales in comparison to those who lost their lives on 9/11 or the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. While all are tragic and regrettable, the fact that the Republicans are using these deaths as a political weapon is repugnant. I'm glad Biden took the kids' gloves off last night, but this kind of response is going to have to be the new normal for the foreseeable future.
