since it appears, with everything moving to online and human interaction frowned upon (my school administration says we all need to be anti-social because of this pandemic), the "magic words" and being tolerable has been replaced with narcissism, egotism, selfishness, and an unbelievable inability to relate to people at all.

When it comes to pesonal defense I'm not gonna go quietly or easily in any situation. About all it would take would be the heel of your hand applied with force up under her chin and she's gonna get rocked back, at a minimum. If you applied that to her upper lip it could actually run a risk of seriously injuring her. Applied to the base of her throat it could leave her in some actual airway distress. If she's just acting the fool at a distance then ignore her, otherwise take her out. I told my husband I figured that in a case like that one it mght even be worth the fall I'd take while wrapping my walker around that cow's head...

What she did was assault. You have every right to defend yourself.
