of a special needs child and grandmother to others, you'd think she would be more careful of their health. But, alas, its Sarah Palin. Praying her children aren't affected.

Sadly, for most, it will not.

This notion that believing something makes it so is nonsense.

Whether these Evangelicult Christains "believe" in science or not, Science Exists. Whether they "believe" in abortion or not, it exists. Whether they "believe" in institutional racism and white supremacy, those things exist. Gay marriage? yeah, that exists, too.

They are free to "believe" in Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy, but those things Do Not Exist.

Palin and her religiosity believe they can't compromise on their faith, the things they "believe" because God hakes lukewarm Christians or water or something like that. This inability to compromise leads directly to Congress members who refuse to negotiate or compromise on legislation. Governing IS compromise. By definition, Palin and her ilk are incapable of governing.
