Dr. Gupta asks nurse if anything would convince her to get vaccine. Hear her reply (CNN)

My take on her stance?

You can lead this nurse to the facts, but you can't make her accept them as the truth.

4. The hosts think her objection comes from her thinking a mandate violates her right to consent.

And she certainly stressed that objection. But that can't be the real reason, because if it was, she would have gotten vaccinated before the mandate was announced.

People using the mandate as an excuse need to start being called out

This professional nurse is going to lose her job because she doesn't like that it's mandated for her to get the vaccine.

It's bizarre as professional healthcare workers, you'd think because of their access to knowledge about medications, would be the first in line to get vaccinated.

Just think if this woman was your wife or significant other, she'd be hard to live with.

8. Buh-bye. Your choice. I wouldn't want you as my nurse anyway.

Maybe have her exclusively tend the sick unvaccinated.

.....is wrong in her head. A nurse’s job is to help people get or stay well. Grow a brain honey.

12. She should not be a health care worker, period.

If her intransigence is not politically motivated (unlikely), then she's refusing the vaccine because of concerns about ill effects to herself, as opposed to the probability that she'll harm others by refusing the vaccine. That's pure selfishness and absolutely contrary to the ethical standards of her profession.

Even were she to get vaccinated in order to keep her job, I'd kick her ass to the curb for being a self-centered creep.

14. Entitlement at its worst!

It's not about your personal choice, KAREN!

It's about public health. It's about the people you care for. It's about the people in your community.

I'm so fed up and disgusted with this ongoing entitlement. It's just like with other anti-vaxxers. The truth is, the only reason they have the luxury to exercise their entitlement by refusing to give their children DPT or MMR vaccinations is because there's still enough of the rest of us who do vaccinate! Who do care about more than ourselves and want to protect not just our children, but everybody's children.

I'm constantly reeling in my anger with these unpatriotic.......(fill in your own choice descriptors here).

I can even predict when she'll be ready to be vaccinated: a half-hour before she's intubated. By then it'll be too late - not just for her, but also for the person who's been in an accident or has a medical emergency and can't get treatment because of lazy, stupid, selfish, narcissists like her. She doesn't want to get vaccinated, she not only needs to lose her job, she needs to lose her nursing license.

She doesn't like the consequences she's facing by not getting vaccinated? Well, we don't like the consequences we're facing because she and other Covidiots are not being vaccinated.

15. I disagree with Cooper's and Gupta's conclusion that it is the mandate that is blocking her

She’s had since last December to get vaxxed and she hasn’t. The mandate only came this past month after FDA approval.
