Everyone other agency/corp/individual tries to improve speed and efficiency.

He's slowing things down. I think he'll be out once Joe Biden can focus on it and gets control of the Post Office's board of governors.

There's no reason to slow down the mail, except for republicans who know vote-by-mail is more and more prevalent around the country.

10. You're onto something, but I think they pnly want to siphon off...

the lucrative parcel business to campaign donors—FEDEX, UPS, DHS, et al. And and since the Post Office is the only entity which has the capability to reach every address in the nation. those companies want nothing to do with the complications and expense of regular mail delivery to households. They just want the plum business which they specialize in.

So I don't think the aim is to privatize the Post Office, it's to cripple the P.O., something republicans have been trying to do for years as shown by the legislation requiring the PO to set aside retirement funds for employess years into the future who haven't even been born yet. Perhaps they have their eye on somehow tapping in those millions of dollars.

Whatever they're up to, it's no good for the PO or the public's receipt of mail regularly and timely.
