Huntington Harbour is basically a series of man-made canals with multi-million dollar homes that feature boat slips. The canals funnel into a channel that empties into the Pacific Ocean at Huntington Beach where the spill hit. A lot of those boats were out on Saturday to watch a Blue Angels airshow at Huntington Beach, and many went right through the oil slick, coming back to their slips in the canals with toxic goo stuck to their bows.

Here’s one of those boats, in a picture taken on Saturday and posted on the local Nextdoor website. Look at all the toxic oil and tar on its bow!
