(33,643 posts)But hey, if he's willing to give up his career and millions of dollars because he doesn't want anyone telling him he has to get vaxxed to play, so be it.
It's a Free Country, and quitting is the honorable thing to do if it's his firmly-held belief he shouldn't have to be vaxxed.
I can respect that kind of consistency.
But I simultaneously think it's very foolish.

Lucky for him he is most likely quite rich already.
So now he can become a martyr for the right. Good for him. Enjoy it. You will be on the dung pile of history quickly
Me.

(14,853 posts)... like he did, shows a serious lack of curiosity about learning the truth.
And if they make even the slightest effort in that regard, such as viewing pics of the Earth from orbit, and they still question it? That's a very dangerous level of mental illness and paranoia, involving vast conspiracies among people to pull off such repeated deception. In which case, those types of paranoid people are very unpredictable and prone to taking action based on whatever delusions that happen to enter their thoughts.
Edit: Or he simply talked about it to get more attention, which seems plausible to me.

(8,709 posts)Do they believe all the disc shaped images of the earth, moon, sun and planets are all 2 dimensional? What do they think happens to the ocean water at those disc edges, where you have to go over to get to the other side of flat earth? Is one side blank and all the land masses are on one side? Are Basket balls really flat?
