Texas Ignores New Demographics; New Congressional Map Boosts White Voter Advantage: Report - TRMS

Rachel Maddow shares reporting by the Texas Tribune on how Texas Republicans have redrawn the state's congressional map to increase the number of majority white districts, reduce the number of majority Hispanic districts, and eliminate the one majority Black district, even as an increase in people of color is responsible for Texas gaining two seats in Congress. He did it each and every day - including both before and after his term - and since their "leader" got away with it, his enablers and supporters look on this as "permission." That's why it's so important that the January 6th Committee acts now.

When we place today's republicans under some trumpian spell we ignore trump is just the result of a cancer that's been festering. Are we really ignoring the Tea Party?
