(3,326 posts)JFC, people are so f'n stupid when it comes to politics. If you want more social spending elect MORE Liberals/Progressives not punish the few that we have in already!! It's obvious we need MORE than a 3 vote majority in the House and an even 50/50 split in the Senate!!

(6,976 posts)The GQP US Taliban Party are really going to obstruct NOW and continue to blame Dems, Biden's numbers will really slip (I know he doesn't care, but) and the mostly corporate media will eat that up more than ever now and run with it faster than Usain Bolt can run. manchin & sinema will of course stay on track to continue to destroy the Dems. Not sure what you can do about those two right now.
I hope Dems get better at fighting back, because Dems won't be getting help--in terms of balanced reporting--from the mostly corporate media though, who enable the GQP. We also have to turn out to vote in the future, because IF we lose the house, senate and white house in the future, what little democracy we have left is gone for GOOD IMO.

(6,649 posts)Will be interesting to see how ranked-choice voting fares in Minneapolis. Wish we all had it.

(205,816 posts)And the Murphy win was announced on MSNBC last hour though they're still counting the votes and expect the vote difference to widen, but not by a lot.
Justice matters.

(4,717 posts)It is the result 150 years of ignorance and 60 years of lies, corruption, corporate greed, and mass apathy. I cant stand Republican/authoritarian/patriarchal/conservative/assholes, but whos Governor of Virginia has little to do, at this point, with the 6th mass extinction.

(989 posts)...oh, what's the use? Pointing out the obvious will not stop people from reflexively blaming the entire party for the acts of a few.
