In that crowd that surrounded his car some were also yelling “f**k Manchin”

Incidentally, that group of protesters were from the Sunrise Movement, the group that boycotted the DC rally on climate change because Jewish groups were part of that rally

The same Sunrise Movement that invaded Senator Feinstein’s office in California, hurling insults at her and not giving her time to answer their questions, and when she finally did, saying she supports climate change legislation, but not the 13 trillion that they were demanding, they again hurled insults

I suspect most in the sunrise didn’t vote for Hillary based on their admiration of Nina Turner, who refused to vote for Hillary in 2016

To a large degree we are where we are today because of Nina Turner, David Sirota, Brianna Joy Gray, Cornell West, Susan Sarandon etc, who encouraged people not to vote for Hillary in the General Election

From my perspective the Sunrise Movement is no friend of the Democratic Party, and their tactics are not helpful

This type of "activism" does not produce the desire results. Manchin isn't going to change his mind and see-the-light because of stunts like this. He's not going to invite them in and have a meeting with them in his vehicle.

Imagine if something like this had happened to Bernie or AOC (by a RW crowd of malcontents who feel completely justified and equally convinced that they're in the right) ... would they be cheered-on?

It's absurd to think that harassing public officials is the solution. It was a threatening situation, danger levels unknown. Did they have weapons? Were they hoping to abduct him or just keep him penned in his vehicle while they shouted demands? I don't blame him for wanting to get out of there quickly.

This was shameful. They're not helping their cause... they're only drawing attention to themselves. (Maybe that was the plan? Who knows?)
