(255,525 posts)I watched quite a bit of it (at least the presentations from the impeachment managers) and I thought what they documented was both shocking and compelling. As for the Republicans, we watched them ignoring the presentations, doodling, playing checkers, anything but taking this seriously and doing their jobs. They already had their "orders..."

(255,525 posts)And what's yet to come sounds devastatingly worse. When he was on Colbert the other night, he said that the White House photographer had photos of Pence in hiding in a cement room on January 6th. He hasn't been able to see them - yet - but they can't remain inaccessible forever. What TFG is attempting to prevent becoming public are not his to decide on. They are part of the historical record - like those from any other administration and belong to the public.
