The whole thing was his idea and he helped plan it. All of the ringleaders who were there that day played their parts in getting the crowd riled up and ready to storm the Capitol. But Trump was at the top of the conspirators. He knew weeks before that they would be counting the electoral college votes in Congress that day, which is why he encouraged his followers to come to Washington on that day. He thought that if the crowd stopped the count and got rid of the electoral college votes, they would have to do the election all over again. He really is a simpleton.
