Missouri is one of the few states, that doesn’t provide compensation for someone just because they’ve been wrongfully convicted. KCTV5 News 11/24/2021.

As requested, here's a link to the fund:

They can't come up with $2k a month, tax-free for life for this man???? Who cannot earn now after what has happened to him?

They're probably in the video. No time to watch, day loaded with just everything.

we are planning to pay reparations to recent and descendants of indignations to people from centuries ago, but won't help people still alive we have wronged recently. There have been a number of people wrongly jailed for crimes they never committed. It's time to compensate those STILL alive who we "maybe made a mistake to."

Maybe it's time to hold those who caused the mistakes responsible for incompetence in performing their jobs. And add to that , those (justices?) who needed months or years to decide that just maybe these wronged people should be released! I"m sure there's a tear in the eyes of those who prosecuted these cases. (Do I need to add this may be sarcasm?)

Will we pay Kevin Strickland's (or others wrongly convicted, jailed or even executed) children, grandchildren or even great grand children 30, 40 or a hundred years from now, compensation for what our supposed justice system did to him or them? Don't hold your breath.

C'mon, Man! Do the right thing for those people, NOW!

Do we even still give someone released from prison after serving legitimate time 10 bucks and a new suit?
