it first came out. I was just old enough to buy my own albums then.

Netflix was supposed to get the Let It Be DVD. I had it in my comings soon que, or whatever they called it, but it never really became available.

I'll be getting a copy of that eventually.

If you're a fan now, you'll feel like family after watching this.

Peter Jackson absolutely nailed it.

Worth every single minute of 7.5 hours.

Don't even have to subscribe to Disney; the Documentary is "out there" on the web

McCartney is on his game; Lennon is getting bored with it all. I don't even think he bothered to shower.

All-in-all, maybe the most poignant line in the film. Ah, Macca, if you only knew...

I got misty eyed from the beginning. The creative energy/tension among them was incredible. This documentary shows all the HARD WORK that goes into writing those songs. I am more impressed by their music even now.

They are the "BEATLES"

Lots of thoughts going through my head:

They seemed to be having fun together....not like they were about to end it all.

Dang--they were so young! (or am I just old?)

So interesting watching their creative process.

Of course I was watching Yoko Ono closely to see what she might have done to cause the end of the Beatles. I thought she was socially awkward in the film---maybe shy? She reminded me of the girls who hang out with their boyfriend when he is with his friends, no matter what he's doing. It was like she didn't have anything else to do....just hang with John and try to be relevant.

Can't wait to watch the final episode tonight!

because it not only reveals the remaining camaraderie and affection between the band members, but also immensely improves sound quality and includes a great deal of revealing footage that was omitted from the original documentary. It doesn't focus on the breakup - it focuses on the Beatles and their actual relationship and interchanges during the filming.
