And State. As we can imagine, the Civil Rights Division was devastated by having a lifelong bigot as AG. And both departments, which depend on continuity and experience to remain effective, were devastated by the vast number of long term employees who left and there were few applicants to replace them. That has to be a large part of the problem, it's not something that will be remedied in less than a year.

Garland is a strange one .

If he was going to arrest any of the top Republicans he would have done it already.

They have all evidence they need.

I keep thinking that too.

I can’t envision getting caught doing a single of the thousands of crimes the tic committed and authorities just yawn.

Anyone of us would be long gone.

There is something wrong.

I do not care how left overs from Trump in the department.

Garland is the boss.

. . . He noted that while the DOJ has focused on charging some of the individual insurrectionists, they have yet to go after the people who sent them to D.C. on January 6. And while the DOJ has challenged some overtly discriminatory laws, there has been no sign that it is pursuing any challenges to the takeover of state and local elections, or the rewriting of laws governing them to enable Republicans to overturn popular election results!

Garland is, indeed, a strange one! I just wish somebody would light a fire under his ass . . .

If I say it I will be jumped on.

There is some strange activities going in the DOJ.

I think Garland is to old for this job.

He is my age.

We needed someone younger.
