Is it also just so nice being able to see President Biden shine just for a moment on foreign policy and be the true Leader of the Free World? I think his ability to rebuild America's relationship with our partners is what we need a lot more of and he can truly do that FREELY. If we slip the alternative is so much worse. Hoping for the best and loving the Biden Administration.

I hope. We're in very dark waters unless authoritarianism is halted.

Can you imagine Cheetolini hosting anything like this?

"Democracy's fine and all - but don't be too nice. Right, Vlad?"

"Da."

Today's the last day of the summit.

Sadly, Bush's dark shadow looms large over this summit - as many inevitably point out that Dubya himself used "democracy" as merely a cudgel against countries he wished to sanction and/or invade (though not others, such as the medieval Saudi regime).

But they should know not all U.S. presidents are "the same."

Biden's a humanist president with a pragmatic outlook toward other countries - and policy in general.

This isn't a religious zealot with delusions of world domination (Bush); or a kleptocrat controlled by foreign and domestic mafias (Trump).

Two people who weren't fit to run a post office - much less the United States of America.
