2. Think I mentioned that the local paper here reports Covid news on the front page

For my fairly small rural county. And they've reported more deaths for the past several days - including two more in yesterday's issue, both hospitalized individuals in their 50s, both unvaccinated. Earlier the deaths were mostly among much older people, but not anymore. And I really don't get it, there are vaccination sites in every pharmacy, pharmacies in grocery stores, Walmarts and 2 at the local mall. Even my brother who hates to leave the house got his booster!

4. Freepers are encouraging each other to get infected deliberately

they think they're getting natural immunity from infection. It's their warped delusions of freedom from something.

And we've seen DUers post their encounters with maskholes. Freepers get mad when people wear masks.

They are still stuck on the notion that these waves start in cities as evidence that vaccines don't work. Not because lots of people are in close together and have major travel hubs with a highly transmissible new variant. When it spreads to rural areas, they blame foreigners or China or someone other than themselves.
