1. He is not retired.

He was discharged for cause.

2. He should not be using his former title

He is now just a private citizen, and should be treated accordingly. Even Catch-22 had Ex-PFC Wintergreen. Ex-Lt. Col. Scheller is now just a PFC...Private F'in Citizen. But don't expect Faux to recognize that.

3. Sure bet he'll refer to himself as Colonel rather than Lt Col.

I'm wondering if his promotion jacket got thrown in File 13 for the second time.

Faux will turn him into the greatest military martyr since Billy Mitchell until the next right wing 'hero' shows up.

He was doing well until he went stupid.

5. I knew an officer

Who was court martialed and dismissed ( the officer equivalent of a Dishonorable Discharge). She continues to use her title on some veterans boards I’m on.

I haven’t called her out on it yet, but the time is coming.
