How Is The Food Industry Tricking Us Into Consuming More?

how the food industry gets us to eat more.
Food used to be one ingredient..not it's 30 ingredients... chemical onslaught on the brain.
Sugar is the star of the kitchen
concentrations of sugar, fat, salt, more than our bodies can handle, are addictive.

Not to mention, how restaurant portions are ludicrously huge.

the pre made salads and deli type unfrozen meals... As a reminder... it's too hard to cook, buy us premade meals. and people have lost the knowledge of cooking the types of food offered in premade meals

although the pre-cooked, pre-packaged meals aren't quite as voluminous as shown at that one store. But still, every time I look at those all I can think is how very easy it is to cook from scratch, and how incredibly expensive it is to have it done for you. Which is why I've never even tried those meal service things, where you get the ingredients for a meal sent to you. At least those seem to involve fresh ingredients, which is good. But, cheapskate that I am, I'm not willing to pay the money.

And it's not so much being a cheapskate as having been relatively poor in the first twenty-five years of my life, and having gone hungry more than once.

Oh, and I do like a good meal at a decent restaurant. But these days, because portion sizes are so huge, I either only get an appetizer, or if I'm lucky I'll be eating with someone willing to share a meal.
