Indeed… I doubt that any reasonable person thinks that Sanders understands WV voters better than Manchin does. It’s laughable that he uses the 2016 primary (including just Democrats and against Hilary Clinton) as evidence.

He's right, we need candidates that can speak to working class people. Fancy words are not going to cut it. Messaging is everything. Speaking about helping the middle class when millions had already joined the free fall of financial ruin out of the middle class was a mistake. We must learn from our mistakes.

He's right, we need candidates that can speak to working class people. Fancy words are not going to cut it. Messaging is everything. Speaking about helping the middle class when millions had already joined the free fall of financial ruin OUT of the middle class was a mistake. We must learn from our mistakes. I say this as a loyal Democrat. Soon I will have an outdoor fundraiser for Val Demmings, and Stacy Abrams here on my canopied patio.
