(16,298 posts)But..this touches me as Ive said..these men n women who defied the rhetoric of the day and proved the naysayers wrong. These men.. n our Native American Code Talkers.. our European friends who believed in the cause.. they really are the greatest generation but were losing them. We cannot n should not let these passings go w/o acknowledgement of their contributions even tho the country they loved didnt love or respect them back. Ok.. ty for indulging me.
