Otherwise people could find stuff out.

How could I go through Virginia public schools and I never heard John Punch or Massive Resistance? That literally happened where I lived.

Rather than tie up the legislature, school boards, enforcement apparati, wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to send all the Rs a tube of butt lube?

as seen in their ruling on federal vaccination mandates. So, I doubt very seriously they will impinge on a private business's freedom of speech. So far, they stand with freedumb, not fascism. Yet that is.

Who knows how many there really were. Ahmaud Arbery was lynched! Lynchings were generally a prolonged period of torture followed by murder.
So I guess there is no way we will teach that the American military was still taking scalps during Vietnam and command knew it? Or that the whole war was a false flag operation.
38 Dakota Native American men were hanged at Mankato in 1862. It was not really a hanging because the ropes were to shot. Wonder how that happened? They were strangled to death. Just for the delight of the spectators. 38 all at once. I know I did not learn of it in school.
Thing is if we teach this stuff we won't be able to do it again. Can't have that.
It hurts my feelings that this nation does not want to teach this history.

So I think that this law, if they pass it, should be used against them. I, and everybody even a little like me, should make it our business to start suing these nasty racists for making us "feel discomfort." I think we are not nearly aggressive enough in turning the tables on them and using their ignorant agendas against them.

Do not discount the Repug messaging on this. Its been that they are not denying the past but they are merely saying today's white people should not be held responsible for the sins of their ancestors. We may think its silly but they are proving to be uite good at messaging to suburban Biden voters who only switched due to the bungling of the Covid response.
