I'm not paranoid about what my ISP might see. I just want to avoid having Google suggest it to me every time I type a search that begins with the same letters.

In spite of her personal issues, she was kick-ass and I enjoyed the show a lot. My son was an EMT volunteer for a brief time... he says he truly enjoyed it and thought it would be an entryway into the fire department. But after a year, the reality hit him and he couldn't see himself hanging of the back of a firetruck when he got older. So he pursued other career opportunities.

One of my dearest friends is a nurse, and she's about ready to call it quits. It's just too much to see so much death, day after day, being able to do nothing about it, and treating patients who didn't care enough in the first place (or who deny covid exists while gasping for air).

I don't know how she does it. The other day on FB she posted a photo of a janitor's supply closet and captioned it "This is where I go to cry."

with a sense of reading a headline out of the front pages of the Enquirer.

Not that it's fake news, but that there's far less real meat here than is being suggested in terms of criminal charges Gatez could be facing. It's going to take far more than having sex with a "minor" vis a vis second hand info.

Serious sex trafficking should take it to a different level entirely. And oh by the way, this is in Florida right? Where Epstein's very serious sex trafficking charges were essentially ignored by the highest level of prosecutors in terms of Epstein's serving real time behind bars in Florida.

Bottom line for me, is that as long as this asshole is free and able to walk the halls of Congress, this story will eventually disappear or fade away. It's like tabloid material, meaning may as well be in terms of end result. Gatez will use it as campaign fodder.

I'd be thrilled if we read of his arrests, prosecution/conviction and sentencing behind bars for the appropriate time.
