He's gotten out of trouble his whole life, first by his father bailing him out with money, then by being forced to bail himself out of scandals like the bogus "Trump University." And after the inherited money was gone (squandered), he needed to come up with another source of income that required little "work" on his part, so he decided to say he was running for POTUS and hoped to rake in the campaign donations. He neither wanted nor intended to do the job - and he didn't.

US Intel now considers him a Russian asset.

In 2014, he planned to run as NY governor. He insisted on being the Republican nominee without going through any primaries. In return for that condition, he assured the NY Republicans that he could win the state for them on his name alone. They turned him down. I think that he planned on using it as a stepping stone to the WH.

I don't think that his self-incriminating public comments are just stupidity. I think they show complete confidence that he can beat the investigations and retake the WH by agitating his followers to violence. Maybe we should look into his reasons for believing that. Who is backing him enough to provide a strategy, agitators, and weapons to carry out another coup attempt? Wealthy American traitors (like the Mercers)? Foreign allies, like Russian oligarchs and/or Putin?

He didn't think he would win. And he didn't realize he was being manipulated by Putin and the Russian oligarchs.

He is not smart enough to realize what is really going on. And he loves flattery, money and attention. So he is the perfect KGB target.

But then I think he quickly learned he was invincible for some reason (Putin tampering with polls and votes, social media propaganda, etc.) and that he might win. Then he was totally onboard.

When the KGB and CIA are first developing an asset they often play it cool. Manipulate the target for awhile, and keep working until the target is in too deep to get away. Trump would be very easy to target and flip. And it is quite possible Melania is a part of all of this.

Yes I agree totally that there is oligarch dark money coming Trump's way. And other US KGB assets are helping him. Yes I believe Trump truly believes he can get away with civil insurrection.

How about an arrogant, stupid loser with too much hubris?

Listening to the video a second time, I'm thinking, you can't make up this level of stupid and be believed, but today a writer had to write it out, this level of stupid is #FailedCoupGuy's reality. If only a hook would appear drag him off stage, or a bunch of FBI agents.

Justice matters.

"I am conducting a criminal investigation of former President Donald J. Trump." is not hard to say, isn't it? Especially after having been threatened of (mob-spoken) "protests" in Atlanta, New York, and DC... She's standing up to the criminal mob boss: Your turn now. It's getting very, very late and it's long overdue. Stand up.
