Hire a 69 year-old, expect 69 year-old output.

You rarely see someone his age in the private sector in a management role. Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, and Sumner Redstone are the exceptions I can think of.

I'd much rather have an AG who's 50-ish and full of ambition and eager for something even greater. For Garland, AG is the capstone to a very fine career.
