1. Will America Succumb to a Trumpist / Fascist Dictatorship - Just for Ratings???

"Trump may be bad for America, but he's great for ratings!" I believe that is a quote from Jeff Zucker - or at least, it is a statement that he would wholeheartedly agree with. I kind of wonder if all these articles and headlines in the news that "the noose is tightening around Donald Trump" may be nothing but a ratings ploy. Of course, if Trump ever gets indicted and convicted, it's the end of the story - and probably also the end of Trump-generated ratings as well. Imagine - a whole country, a whole democracy - down the tubes forever, all in the frenzied pursuit of ratings!

2. It'll be harder to pull off with Zucker gone

I don't care what they used as a justification to fire him. I've always considered workplace affairs monumentally stupid (Italian proverb: "don't shit where you eat&quot but consensual affairs an insufficient reason to can the participants. Still, the higher ups obviously found it a more palatable reason than "his trumpian editorial bias and lousy taste were detrimental to the corporation first and the country second.
