Ex UK PM John Major speaks on standards in democracy
Well worth a watch.
A reminder that mainstream rational conservatives used to be a thing. I'm a progressive Democrat in the mold of Elizabeth Warren, but I also think to have a healthy democracy you need a rational right of center party. And if you look at what is happening just in the US, UK, and Canada you see those rational conservatives are really in short supply.
