I so look forward to Elie Mystal on MSNBC. His analyses range from solid to laser hot.
(It's hard to get the MSNBC videos within 48 hours of these show dates, I'm afraid.)

(6,265 posts)important issues upcoming with decisions in the SC that will garner population-wide consequences. Both positive and negative. And no matter where one stands politically. Abortion Right, Voting Rights will show what this SCJ is professing here. Yet I hold out a spark of hope that he surprises us all. I truly don't trust him to do the 'right' thing.

(36,023 posts)Now I understand. Yep, totally agree. Thomas should be pressured, by investigation, to retire from SCOTUS before he's impeached for a pattern of unethical conflict of interest decisions, especially for a wife like his.

(36,023 posts)I must have missed it. I particularly liked her segment with Mystal over Thomas' pattern of refusing to recuse himself where his wife's involved.
Thanks again for correcting the record.

(205,161 posts)And those from MSNBC are usually available within an hour or two of the show - though they only make certain news stories available, not the entire show. And this one certainly rated a repeat, Joy Reid is usually timely and right on the mark.

(205,161 posts)Sometimes I'm disappointed when they don't include an appearance by a guest I thought was important (Steve Schmidt last night), but I do try to share the big news stories for those that aren't home or even don't have TV, since I've become aware that there are some on DU.

(36,023 posts)still look forward to your daily review.
I notice, too, that sometimes they don't carry the best segments, such as the one where Joy Reid spoke with another guest while Malcolm Nance waited, and then cut off the segment before she got to him. Disappointing.
