After being fed the drug of "NOTHING happening here or happened here"" for most of their lives. I think we used to call it History classes back in the day , but now the GOPer's want their idiots to remain idiots.

They saw 3 idiots on the school board who were absolutely obsessed with what things were called rather than what they did and kids were being hurt by it.

Those three board members were posturing slacktivists who didn't do their jobs and all the posturing in the world wasn't going to fool a majority even in a socially progressive city like San Francisco.

Posturing slacktivists on the right want to ban books, thereby increasing their popularity. Slacktivists on the left want to police language and judge the past by the present and they're just pissing people off.

4. Scarborogh has bought the republican hype on what "woke" is.

It was a Black slang work for what used to be called being politically aware. republicans got a hold of it and spewed that it was akin to socialism and progressives moving way left.

And it stuck with many right-leaning idiot like Scarborogh and others, apparently. It is a cautionary tale though for our resident Squad members in the House.

Don't go campaigning again against incumbent Democrats.

Don't keep spewing "Defund the Police."

And stop calling yourself a Democratic Socialist as that moniker is a vote loser in all but the deepest blue districts. Get elected, then install progressive policies.

contradicting prejudices first, then they needed a word because you can't say you oppose "learning" new things and hate "education" so they needed a dog whistle.
