It's because we still get everything from China.

Good luck to us if they decide to embargo something like car parts.

Face it, the corporate greed of the 89s-2000s is going to bite us--hard. Exporting industry to China might have made the rich richer beyond their most avaricious fantasies but now we're dimly realizing what a national security issue it is and always has been. Who knew that exporting whole industries like cloth, shoes, replacement parts for everything would make us so vulnerable to the whims of an autocratic government that is definitely not our friend?

We bow to China because we're STUCK. Thanks a bunch, corporate weasels.

6. I know there has been criticism of Maher (justified) and a few times I've watched he's been annoying

arrogant, and just plain wrong.
But this was a home run.

He did forget another issue. Some segment of the Chinese is chewing through endangered species around the world like some crazed sci-fi Pacman.
