On the platform of "Election Integrity".

Current SoS, Steve Simon, has done an outstanding job in making sure elections in Minnesota go smoothly. The GOP candidate wants to change all of that and make it harder to vote, especially by mail and in-person early voting. I have done both with little to no hassles.

It ain't broke, Kim...

Do you have experience investigating election theft?

Check out the spreadsheets and the statistics involved in discovering the 6% vote shift in Ohio 2004:

How Kerry Votes Were Switched To Bush Votes

"In a subset of 166,953 votes, one of every 34 Ohio voters, the Kerry-Bush margin
shifts six percent when the population is sorted by outcomes of wrong-precinct voting."

The vote shifting was very difficult to detect, almost perfectly engineered. They overlooked just one problem, statistics and the fact someone might work for a year to reveal it.

.... Bush v Gore and the SCOTUS steal. They know they NEEDED to computerize national elections.

They NEEDED to get away from paper ballots (auditable) ballots to flip votes in significant numbers to start building a national structure which they have spent the last 20+ years making it harder to vote and altering congressional districts, aka gerrymandering.

I think Trump's big mouth and his insistence that the election would be stolen was premature for the long-range plan to put more and more pieces in place ahead of time.

He didn't want to give up his ability to cover up all his crimes while in his first term. Smart repugs started abandoning him when they realized the chance of a coverup of past crime was not going to happen. Look how quick AG Bill Barr cut and ran.

They could have eventually enacted laws that would allow critical states to overturn election results.
