Jen Given, 10th grade history teacher at Hollis Brookline High School joins Yasmin Vossoughian to discuss the impact of new restrictions on what topics can be discussed in the classroom and the challenges it creates for them as educators. (15,147 posts)6. I spent 25 years in classrooms. I have the opportunity to go back for a couple of years, keeping
my pension and Social Security, plus the salary I would earn. I would start with my salary as it was when I left. My income would be $192k.
I still won't do it.
