1. Ukrainians weren't the only ones in denial

This guys has an interesting channel, knocks around all over Russia and the former SSRs, meeting people, showing what the cities are like, big interest in Soviet era art and architecture, stuff that's disappearing fast. I thought when he stopped posting a couple of months ago that he'd caught a clue and left but today this popped up:

Shock and sadness are going to wear off, to be replaced by blind fury. I remember what they did to get rid of Yanukovich and I know what they did when the Nazis rolled in.

I just hope this guy gets out of Dodge quick.
