If Ukraine falls, I would think Georgia would be next on Putins list for reconquest.

I visited what was Soviet Georgia in the late '80s and there were statues honoring Stalin all over which confused me, so I asked. And I was told that Stalin was Georgian, not Russian, and he was honored in Georgia "because he killed so many Russians..."

I have actually been to Tbilisi, capital of what was then Soviet Georgia, and there is no love for Russians there. It's a completely different culture with a different language. And I was baffled to see many statues of Stalin still there - so I asked and was told that it was not only because Stalin was Georgian - but because he killed so many Russians...
