It's a chance, with TFG losing favorability, and we need to take advantage while we can. There are a whole lot of former Republicans who rejected TFG early on - with his increasing insanity, their ranks are bound to grow.

1) Maher and the congressman, two supposedly intelligent guys, still regurgitating the totally fake, made-up "poll" from two RightWingers at a Miami-based anti-Cuba front group.

2) LatinX was not concocted by 'White Liberals'. It was adopted by the youth. They don't want to be divided or categorized as Hondurans, or Guatemalans, or Nicaraguans, or Mexicans, and on and on. They're not even that crazy about borders, and I don't mean the Mexican border, but all borders. They're perspective is global.

At least Gallego stated that if someone wants to be identified as LatinX, he would do so, he said "I'm not an asshole". Too bad that can't be said of some others.

maybe it will become popular, although I'm not betting the rent. Everybody I know hates it.

I'm with Gallegos, I'll call people what they want to be called, usually their names.

I do agree with the New Rule this week. My own comment is "Yeah, he fooled a hell of a lot of good people." Then I change the subject.

We didn't treat Russia like an international pariah when the USSR collapsed. We just didn't do them any favors. When they asked for help transitioning their economy, Daddy Bush and Clinton sent them Harvard MBAs. That's why outside the Kremlin they look like us, a few obscenely rich oligarchs stashing money and buying urban real estate all over the planet while the vast majority of people are living from paycheck to paycheck and scrambling for crumbs.

I honestly don't give a flying fornication. Not my circus, not my monkeys.

I call people what they want to be called.
