Donald Trump inarguably committed elections crimes, from campaign finance violations in a conspiracy with Michael Cohen designed to hide deeply damaging personal information from the voters, to attempting to corruptly overturn the results of the presidential election, to inciting an insurrection. In a very real and direct sense, Trump tried to steal from the American people the full value of their vote.
