8. I'm listening to this clip now and my heart aches, both for these men & others in the russian forces

who've been lied to and led to believe they were doing drills going to different locations ("i feel shame that we came to this country" ), and more so for all Ukrainians suffering or killed.

Then if he helped carry them out, he's guilty too. All russians committing war crimes should be held accountable for their actions, and charged.

They affirm what we've assumed and been told. They were lied to by Putin. Putin who cares little for life, freedom, laws, on and on.

I hope the internet can be made available near rural areas in Russia. They need to see and hear the truth.

I'm seeing those two guys around the speaker and being horrified. It looks as if they have been subject to abuse. Not war wounds.

15. It is hard to know. They could be traumatized just knowing what they did and knowing they can't

go home after being in this video. Or they could have been tortured to say the things they said. There is a genocide going on. They were participating in it.

I hope the Ukrainians didn't coerce the statements. But, if they did I'm ok with it.

Like so many of our very human, devoted, dedicated, and patriotic men, and women who have given their lives for wars that are unjust, I am certain they believed they were doing the right thing for their country.

then the Lt. Colonel, at least, deserves an academy award for his performance. They were obviously speaking from the heart and making impassioned statements that went way off script. They were even careful to try to point this out.
