Most states allow names, etc., although it is supposed to be for political party use.

This outraged commentator is apparently not familiar with election procedures.

(8,823 posts)In Virginia for example your party affiliation (determined from which primary you voted in) and your voting record (when you voted) is public. Obviously it does not say whom you voted for, they cant know that but it says when you voted and in which primaries.
Donations are also public (its true in every state). you can look it up on FEC website and check if you neighbor donated to Trump.
