(255,321 posts)I was unfamiliar with his two female guests, but I was particularly interested in what the cyber security expert had to say - and the panel was informed and good humored. I didn't even cringe at this week's "funny bit," which I sometimes do...

(255,321 posts)He's a comedian and goes for laughs, something I don't think those who criticize him remember. And while he's political, his previous show was "Politically Incorrect" where he had all sorts of zany characters. Before the pandemic, he often had guests he enjoyed arguing with. But I think he was talking through his hat on alopecia. My friend's brother-in-law has also had it from a fairly young age, not as young as the boy I remember from elementary school, but before he was 30.

(255,321 posts)I know there was some criticism of last week's, but this weeks was exceptional as it usually is - and all his guests this week were really good, too. And there were plenty of laughs... New Rules is the 4th video and the 3rd one is Bill's weekly "funny bit" that he brings out during the panel discussion.

(255,321 posts)I guess I got used to it when I was a DU.2 mod, since we were also there to answer questions. And I'm always pleased when someone takes the time to reply to one of my threads. Now you know how I managed to accumulate so many posts - though at least half of them were as a mod, a host or on MIRT.

(33,136 posts)Okay, initial thought seeing him on Overtime is that the dude is super creepy looking. But then I looked for the campaign on YouTube -- the commercials are brilliant. Only possible improvement would have been to actually cast Schwarzenegger as Bill suggests (though "super creepy looking dude" is actually hilarious).
Thanks for the usual Real Time update, Rhiannon12866. This post is the first I look for on Saturday morning.

Thanks for the great clips - that's the guy I meant! Glad you enjoyed the show, I really liked all the guests this week and there was plenty of much needed humor!

(52,107 posts)not get to talk about his new party. At least if he did I missed it.
Coats was great when she explained how our legal system is working. Perlroth was frightening so perhaps we did need some comic relief.
I was not aware that so many women sided with Smith.
And Rock chose not to retaliate because his whole race was on his shoulders.
My initial comment on your listing was for others to miss the last two minutes of his New Rules which, in the last two weeks were dedicated to his unique agenda. I hope that no one did. They were not to be missed.

(132,152 posts)When some people go rogue and extreme like Republicans have they don't get power as coalition can form to avoid them and they don't form government. I am not an Yang fan but he is a smart guy.

(255,321 posts)The panel was good and Andrew Yang barely mentioned his new third party - only when the subject of other countries having numerous parties came up. And I also enjoyed the Overtime discussion, but did no one have a question for Nicole Perlroth? I figured that was next, but the segment ended with no input from her...
