Some Russians outside of Russia, specifically in Georgia per the clip, because doing that IN Russia will get you a long sentence in Siberia. Funny, the more things change, the more they don't.

(17,989 posts)4. Georgian is the official language, but like most places
in the former Soviet Union, many also speak Russian and quite a few know the lingua franca, English. Georgian is not from the same family as Russian and has it's own script that's very different than Cyrillic or Latin.
