On Thursday, the Republican National Committee voted to pull out of the presidential debates that have been run by the non-partisan non-profit Commission on Presidential Debates since 1988. Aired on 04/14/2022.

The Putin party has made the press the enemy of the people. The moderators for the debates are journalists, Putin party enemies.

Democracies do debates, autocracies do not. The RNC is simply following the autocratic playbook.

2. Another scary change - for the first time, the Republican party has no platform

Despite all the damage he's done and continues to do, apparently the goals of the Republican party depend on the whims of TFG.
