and Heinlein didn't intend it that way. However, it was just begging to become what it is.

I really loved the old pulp magazine stuff from the 30s and 40s, even if the covers usually featured a bug eyed monster threatening some languid blonde with enormous boobs ready to pop out of her inadequately cut rubber clothing. Saturn was always in the background, don't ask me why. Thankfully, the contents rarely had any sort of story that even vaguely reflected the cover art.

One thing my mother was good about, she never gave a damn about what I was reading as long as I was reading it.
