just knock the Russians out but at the end you see a tank blown completely up so I assume there were deaths there.

Maybe he doesn't want to talk about deaths. I can understand that.

At his bio and it appears he was in the military in his country for a while. Many who have seen battle usually have a more humanist and introspective view of it all. He's matter of fact about the deaths but but not reveling in them, trying to be respectful I would imagine, has something to do with it too.
