If no funding, then we havent seen the worst of the pandemic yet, in my prediction.

(205,320 posts)I have two friends who recently tested positive for Covid, both fully vaccinated. The county just south of mine had the highest Covid rate in the state, last I read, but it's now spreading south to New York City. And though New York is hardly 100% vaccinated, we have a higher vaccination rate than southern and midwestern states. Like the doctor said, this is far from over.

that when we give up on basic covid precautions, wed get an outbreak?
Something Im seeing in my circle lately is people who have recently either been outright exposed to covid or been to an event such as a wedding and now have a cold.
