Earl you should show the picture of Bush eating cake and playing a guitar while the levies failed.
Is the guy in the plaid jacket Alice Cooper ? Also, what's with the Obama flag behind Alice's right shoulder ?

Better to keep that clown as far away from the very important and real job of disaster relief as possible. There are some people who are just better off not trying to help. Let the president do his job, and let the perpetual presidential candidate do the one thing he knows how to do... shuffle around awkwardly at Conservative campaign events with geezers.

(5,023 posts)Granted, Romney is unemployed, but I managed to watch 3 minutes of his speech on YouTube (which BTW had only 1 view) and he didn't even mention the hurricane. He could have at least said something about it, but didn't.

(3,795 posts)Whatever the fuck those two assholes are hamming it up for, EVERYONE behind them do not seem to find it even remotely amusing, entertaining or even interesting.
Those 2 are 2 of the biggest fucking phonies I have ever seen on the political stage.

(280 posts)NECC, the company whose compounding has been determined to be the source of the outbreak, successfully lobbied the Romney administration to prevent even probation on previous citations of not properly abiding by safety and professional standards.
If this were less than a week before the election, and were the news not being dominated by Sandy, it is possible this could become a very big story in the campaign - it is illustrative of what happens when regulations are rolled back. And Romney's fingerprints are all over it.

(4,113 posts)Harding is part of the argument I use to my Republican friends when they regurgitate their Limbaugh lines in a conversation. I promptly remind them that the Great Depression started under a Republican president (Hoover), who was preceded by another Republican (Coolidge), who was preceded by another Republican (Harding). During all three of these administrations, the Republicans controlled the U.S. House and Senate. It either shuts them up, or some will try to argue that my argument is not relevant to today. They can't say anything beyond that, but they feel like they got in the last word, I guess, because they've got Rush's talking points backing them up.

(459 posts)That echos what I have seen. Everytime republican'ts come into majority it is followed be either a recession or at the very least an economic downturn. All people have to do is check back through any economic history and they will see that these are facts...
We just need to inspire more apathetic youths to get behind obama.
